If you are a forex trader and have gone online, then you have seen all the ads for the latest and greatest platforms. They are presented with flashy graphics with marketing done in a way to impress you and get you to join their group. All you need to do is hand over a few thousand dollars a month and you are in.
Many think that it is this kind of thing that makes trading so complicated for other people. The software that is offered has all the bells and whistles and they give you all kinds of indicators for you to use. Is it just me, or does all this make forex trading look more like a game then a serious type of investment? Many of the software toys you will never have time to try out so some people will find them useless.
It has been said that these types of software can make a trader lazy. He no longer need to look at the market and try to understand what is happening when he can just use a indicator on his charts. If it were that simple, more people would be trading foreign currency. This is not an easy field to work in. It takes time to understand and learn the lingo before you jump in and join the big boys.
