As you work your way through Manchester, you will notice that there are many multiplexes. Printworks is new and offers one of just a few IMAX screens in the UK.  In nearby Salford, you can find eight screens at Virgin and fourteen screens can be found at the Belle Vue and is very popular with the locals.

If you are in the middle of town, you can go to the Arenas where they offer seven screens. On Oxford Street you will see the Odeon Film Centre. It is popular with the students as well as the family as it is a more traditional type of large cinema. To get around to experience all these cinemas, you could find cheap car hire and spend some time going to them all to compare what they offer.

Foreign and independent films can also be found at the Cornerhouse. Here you will find a popular bar and a cafe that are both fantastic and don’t miss the Cine City that is located in Withington. No matter what your interest is, music or theater or art, it can all be found in this multi-cultural city of Manchester. People from all over the world are attracted to this city for all the it offers.
